Malcolm hails from the only snowy lands in the UK, Scotland. Malcolm has been skiing for 15 years. A lot of these 15 years were spent ski racing at competition level before getting into Coaching. A Snow Sport Scotland instructor course in 2002 showed him another area of the sport that was potentially not as dangerous or life threatening as going 100mph on two bits of wood. Malcolm was one of only a handful of instructors that after completing his first BASI Ski instructor course was told he was good enough to go and get the next level straight away. Which he puts down to spending much of his early life skiing. 5 years later after teaching and training in Italy, Australia and of course Bonnie Scotland, Malcolm is a fully certified BASI grade 2 and ISIA ski instructor as well as an APC race coach.
