This course will be open to snowboarders who have reached a technical level as described in the guidelines set out above. The object of the course is to familiarise students with the BASI Association and to prepare them for further learning. On completion of the Level 1 Instructor Course and having completed the other requirements detailed HERE students are qualified to teach on artificial surfaces (at indoor and dryslopes) within Great Britain and are individually debriefed and advised on the best way forward and when to present themselves for the Snowboard Instructor Level 2 Course, which is needed before the student can teach on a mountain. Students may be required to repeat the Course. Duration: 5 full days on the mountain with lectures in the evening.
