How old can children start to ski/snowboard? |

Ski - 5 years. Snowboard - 7 years. With skiing, 4 years old can be taught, however, 1 hour private lessons only, with the parents near by. |

Can I ski/board off piste? |
| |
|
Before you even think to go off piste, you should be a competent black run skier, with on piste powder experience. Off piste guides should always be taken. |

Is it cold in the mountain? |
| |
|
Yes. You should always wear more layers than you think, its better to take them off than not have them to put them on. |

What I should take with me on the hill? |
| |
|
Gloves, hats, goggles, sun tan lotion, lip balm, snow equipment, lift pass, ski map, and don't forget money. |

Where can I buy lift passes from? |
| |

Lift passes can be bought from the bottom gondola station. |
| |

What time are lift passes sold? |
| |
|
Lift passes fro the next day are sold between 4 and 5 pm. The lift pass offices open at 8.30 am till 5.00 pm. |

Insurance? |
| |
|
First Aid and rescue insurance cover is included in lift passes bought from the lift pass office. Travel and further medical insurance is up to you. |

What if I'm late to a lesson? |
| |

Group lessons - The instructor will wait 20 mins from the time of lesson start for the whole group to turn up.
Private lesson - The instructor will wait 30 mins for you to turn up. The instructor will then turn up every hour after the lesson was supposed to start. For us contact is the best thing, if you know you are going to be late, give us a ring. |

Can I have a lesson with my children? |

No, not normally, kids and adults learn in very different way and at different speeds. Especially kids under 14 yrs old. |

Can I change disciplines half way through the week? |

No, The instructor has been booked for the time you booked, and has been guaranteed these hours. |

What happens if I miss my lesson due to illness, injury, gondola closure? |

We can write a letter from us to your insurance company, no refunds will be given. |

Can I stay with my kids during a lesson? |
| |

Not recommended, kids can react if you stick around, its better to leave them, to enjoy there lesson. |

Who knows? People all learn at different paces and have different physical capabilities. |

No, due to timings of lessons, the meeting and drop off point is the same. |

5 leva would be good, or a small chocolate bar, drinks etc, 3 hours can be a long time. |

Helmets? |

It is always advisable to wear a helmet, whether you're are adult or a child, However it is not compulsory with Method or in Bansko. |

Before you come on holiday, make sure you know you body weight in kg., and height in m/cm. |
